The Integrated Training Program for Gas Processing Engineers

The "Integrated Training Program for Gas Processing Engineers," organized by the Office of the Vice Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training at the College of Engineering and Petroleum for employees in the oil sector, has concluded.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Abdullah Al-Ajmi, the Acting Vice Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training, who welcomed the participants in the training course and wished them success. He noted that this course is presented by a distinguished group of faculty members from the College of Engineering and Petroleum. One of its main objectives is to enhance networking and communication among participants from the oil sectors in Kuwait, including KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, and KPC, to benefit from scientific and practical experiences, and to strengthen knowledge and relationships among emerging engineers in various oil companies under the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

Dr. Makhout Al-Dosari, the Acting Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, also welcomed the participants, pointing out that this training course was requested by the participating oil companies in collaboration with the College of Engineering and Petroleum. He added that a case study will be conducted by the engineers' companies for the participants in this course, in cooperation with the faculty members involved in delivering the training, aimed at solving any current problems in the work environment that may need any type of development. Work on this will begin after the completion of the training course.

There was also a field visit at the end of each week to several companies, including KIPIC, KNPC, and KOC.

The training course, which lasted for three weeks, featured several faculty members from the Petroleum Engineering Department, including Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Sharqawi, Dr. Osama Al-Omair, Dr. Firas Al-Rahmani, and Dr. Fahd Al-Mudayris. Faculty members from the Chemical Engineering Department included Prof. Dr. Hisham Al-Touni, Prof. Dr. Haitham Lababidi, Dr. Badr Al-Busairi, Dr. Suleiman Al-Qalaf, Dr. Issam Al-Raqba, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ajmi, Dr. Youssef Al-Shamlan, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Harz, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hajri, and Dr. Farah Al-Dweesh.
