Professor Mohammed Baidas, Acting Chair of the Electrical Engineering Department, accompanied by Dr. Ali Hajjiah and Dr. Yaser Abdulrahim of the electrical engineering department, participated in the E-Poster Day organized by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). The E-poster day, held on Tuesday the 22nd of November 2022 at KFAS headquarters, is an event that highlights research conducted by Kuwaiti researchers funded by KFAS. The event attracted a sizeable crowd of various interested parties from academic and research institutions, with various participant researchers presenting the results of their research in the form of e-posters.

The event included a lecture presented by Dr. Yaser Abdulrahim featuring KFAS-funded research on the advanced photovoltaic cell program. Professor Mohammed Baidas presented a scientific e-poster on the use of renewable energy to operate mobile communication towers in Kuwait, while Dr. Ali Hajjiah contributed with a scientific e-poster on raising the efficiency of photovoltaic cells.
