Under the auspices of Professor Ayed Atallah, Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum (KU-CEP), the KU-CEP held a workshop entitled “The Role of Young Researchers in the Development of Scientific Research”.

The workshop was attended by Acting Vice Dean of Scientific Affairs, Research & Graduate Studies Dr. Raed Bourisli and its intended audience of associate professors at the college appointed during the past five years. The workshop aimed to inform and orient this target audience about research-related resources available at the College of Engineering and Petroleum specifically, and Kuwait University at large. Moreover, the workshop featured a look into research priorities that are of interest in the college and constituted a forum in which the research proposals and aspirations of the participants were encouraged and considered.
