This unit provides quality and planning services for the Office of the Vice Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training, as well as for the College of Engineering and Petroleum in general. The Office of the Vice Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training has a quality management program certified with ISO 9001. The Quality and Planning Unit is committed to continuous growth through plans aligned with the college and university's goals.

One of the team's main objectives is to prepare a plan for evaluating and allocating the current college buildings and addressing the needs for future college buildings. The planning team also conducts ongoing assessments of the infrastructure of existing buildings and explores the possibility of providing additional space for the college within the current campus.

Additionally, one of the most important responsibilities of the team is to ensure the implementation of the college's strategic plan in alignment with the university's goals and objectives.
